The RDSS Company
This multi-level program allows dancers the opportunity to train and perform at a more focused level, with an emphasis on all around technique, teamwork and self discipline. Auditions are held every summer. The Company attends three local competitions annually.
They attend Nationals every three years.
Minis
Ages 5-8. The goal at this level is to positively prepare the students for the competition experience, while guiding them toward their ultimate potential. They will learn team building, a strong work ethic, and how to take constructive criticism from teachers and judges. Minis attend 2 Regional competitions and do not attend Nationals.
Petites
Ages 9-11. The goal at this level is to positively prepare the students for the competition experience, while guiding them toward their ultimate potential. They will learn team building, a strong work ethic, and how to take constructive criticism from teachers and judges. Petites attend 3 Regional compeitions and Nationals every three years.
Newstars
Ages 8-13. The Newstars competition team program is designed for intermediate level dancers that would like to be a part of the RDSS Company. Newstars attend 3 Regional competitions and Nationals every three years.
Juniors / Teens / Seniors
Ages 12-up. Our most advanced level of competition with the most styles offered. The goal at this level is still to positively push the students as they continue their competition experience, helping them reach their ultimate potential. A strong work ethic and focus will be required. They will continue to take constructive criticism from teachers and judges and use it to evolve as dancers. Junior, Teens and Seniors attend 3 Regional competitions and Nationals every three years.
