RDSS Instructor since 2007

 

Ms. Nikki’s dance training began at age 3 and included all the traditional styles and extensive competition experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Oakland University. Ms. Nikki’s professional dance experience includes judging on competition circuit and assistant teaching for Dance Olympus conventions.

While she has taken class from many world class dance professionals, her two favorites have been tap teachers Laurie Johnson and Gregg Russell.

 

Ms. Nikki’s favorite thing about teaching dance?

“My favorite moment in class is watching a student finally ‘get it’. The look of accomplishment and the huge smile they get is the greatest reward for me as a teacher.”

 

Ms. Nikki’s favorite vacation spot?

“Palm Springs. It’s a quiet town with small shops, restaurants and a gorgeous view of the mountains. And I love sitting out in the 100 degree weather by the pool.”
