Dear Parents,

​

My name is Tracy Chesher and I am your child’s Kindermusik Teacher. I welcome you and your child to the Kindermusik program held at Raedene’s Dancin’ Stars Studio. I am looking forward to providing your family with an enjoyable, positive, musical, fun, and educational experience .

​

This is my seventh year teaching and managing the Kindermusik program at Raedene’s.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Environmental Studies, (classes include Early Child Dev, Social Work, & Counseling) from Central Michigan University as well as a Minor in Instrumental Music in May of 2002.

​

My prior experiences include 8 years of teaching at Gymboree Play & Learn as a Music, Art, and Gym teacher for children infant- 5 years old, and assistant manager. Prior to Gymboree I was a Preschool Director and teacher for 2 years at Apple Tree Christian Learning Centers in Grand Rapids, MI working with children infant- 12 years old. I also was a substitute teacher for K-12 when I first graduated college.

Not only am I VERY passionate and LOVE teaching Kindermusik classes, but I am also a musician and perform on saxophone in two professional Big Bands in the Metro Area called, The Swing Shift Orchestra and The Nighthawks Jazz Orchestra.

​

My husband Dan and I are a musical family. He is a High School Band Director at Roseville Community Schools and in his 15th year of teaching. We have been married for 15 wonderful year, and are blessed with our daughter, Lila who is 7 years old.  She also takes dance classes here at Raedene’s Dancin’ Stars Studio and is going into her 5th year of dance and loves it!
